2009 marked IDD Aerospace’s 50th Anniversary as a leader in the design and development of flight deck products. Starting in 1959 as Farwest Manufacturing, the company began manufacturing light plates for the 707 Jumbo Jet and DC-8.
Since then, IDD Aerospace has developed into a full service development partner for the best avionics companies and airframe manufactures in the world. As a matter of fact, IDD Aerospace products can be found on most major aircraft including commercial, corporate and military platforms.
IDD Aerospace’s products have grown over these years to include sophisticated integration of for keyboards and switch panels, and full control panel assemblies and sub-systems, in addition to their industry expertise in light plates and lighting design.
