Redmond, WA (March 16, 2005) - IDD AEROSPACE,
a division of the Zodiac Group,
announced today that it has received an award from The Boeing
Company for preferred supplier status on all Boeing 777 airplane
illuminated
cockpit panels. This comes as part of Boeing’s 5-year extension
of IDD’s preferred vendor product support contract for the
supply of illuminated cockpit panels and integrated switch panels
for new Boeing 767, 737, and 747 production aircraft.
The agreement also allows IDD Aerospace to work with Boeing
in developing new technologies for cockpit panel lighting
and to
retrofit older technology. Under separate contracts, IDD Aerospace
supplies
night-vision compatible illuminated cockpit panels, integrated
switch panels and control panels for many of Boeing’s
military aircraft programs.
“
IDD Aerospace is proud to continue supplying Boeing with our products.” said
Steve Hintzke, President and CEO of IDD Aerospace. “We
